Fashion school taught me about fibre. Marrying Anton taught me where it truly comes from. 🐐

I trained as a fashion designer, fell in love with a farmer, and moved to the mountains of the Eastern Cape. And somewhere between the goats in the field and the fibres in my hands, everything clicked.

Every piece we make carries that story. The land. The animal. The people. The love for something real.

That’s what Sunday Child is built on. 🌿

I was born and raised in the Eastern Cape — the largest mohair-producing region in the world. For most people that’s just a fact. For me, it’s home.

My husband Anton farms Angora goats on our farm in the mountains. Every year, when the hair is shorn, we take that fibre and turn it into something you can live with — carpets, blankets, socks. Things made slowly, with care, from a place we love.

That’s Sunday Child. That’s our story.
