There’s something about Klompie tiles that just feels right in a farmhouse. 🀎

For this Kirkwood home, we’ve introduced Klompie flooring throughout the living spaces, bringing a raw, authentic quality into the interiors that immediately adds warmth and character.

Laid in a herringbone pattern, the natural variation in the clay gives the floor a beautifully imperfect finish. No two tiles are quite the same, and that texture becomes part of the story of the home.

We love how it sits alongside the warm timber, natural stone, soft neutral finishes and more refined elements of the interior. It feels rustic without feeling heavy, and gives a newly designed space the sense that it has already been lived in and loved for years.

And because the flooring continues from the kitchen and living areas into the covered entertainment space, it creates a lovely connection between indoors and out.

A new design feature, but one that feels completely at home on the farm. 🌿

There’s something satisfying about seeing a design move from screen to site. πŸ‘€

Progress at this bespoke new build on the St Francis Links Golf Estate, where one of the home’s key interior features is starting to take shape.

The stairwell was designed as more than simply a connection between levels. Floating timber treads, a strong black steel spine and layers of natural light come together to turn a functional part of the home into a design feature in its own right.

From the early 3D to the raw construction stage and what’s still to come, this is where we get to see the details we’ve been working on become real.

The final details are coming together at EDF Power Solutions in Cape Town. πŸ‘€

With this stunning office revamp nearing completion, Tahlia is on site working through the final snags, checking finishes, resolving the last few details and liaising directly with the subcontractors who have helped bring the design to life.

It’s this part of the process that often happens behind the scenes. Walking the space, having the conversations and making sure what was designed translates properly into the finished product.

Taking living to a whole new level.😍

A little look at what we’ve been working on for an additions and alterations project in one of Cape Town’s exclusive residential estates.

And this one is all about the details.🀌🏼

When we put together 3Ds like these, we aren’t filling the rooms with generic furniture and finishes simply to make the images look good. The pieces you see have been selected for this home. The furniture, lighting, finishes, stone, joinery and fittings are actual products that form part of the interior design.

It means our clients get to see a pretty accurate picture of where we’re heading before it all starts coming together on site.

There’s a lot happening in this home, but the palette has been kept warm and fairly restrained, with timber, stone and softer finishes running throughout to maintain a timeless aesthetic. And when Table Mountain is sitting in the background like that, you really don’t need to compete with it.

We have a feeling this one is going to be pretty special.

A little sneak peek at one of our latest corporate interiors in Cape Town. 😍

This was a project we were involved in from the very beginning, taking it from the initial concept, design and spatial planning right through to on site project management and the final handover.

And we had some fun with this one! Bold colour, custom details and spaces designed for people to meet, work, take a break and recharge.

Following on from our first look at this St Francis Canals renovation, we’re moving into some of the more private spaces in the home.

For the living room and bedroom, the focus was really on how these spaces should feel. Comfortable, relaxed and somewhere you genuinely want to spend time.

We carried the terracotta floors through and worked with warm timber, natural textures and softer finishes to give these rooms their own character while still feeling connected to the rest of the home.

The bedroom flows through to the dressing area and bathroom, where the same approach continues. Nothing feels overly done or too precious. It’s warm, easy and suited to the relaxed way of life in St Francis.

A home should look good, but more importantly, it should feel good to live in.
