This superb kitchen stands tall and proud showing off all its glorious curves and features. From the "dirty ivory" sprayed supawood doors to the double- step edged Creamy Marfil Ceasarstone tops every aspect of this masterpiece is a cut above the rest. Great use of the "Dynamic Space" concept, created by BLUM, was instrumental in the design and planning of this layout.

This ultra modern design makes stylish, yet functional use of the vast amount of space available to this homeowner. The horizontally orientated Linear finish Coimbra Melamine doors and draw fronts are beautifully offset by the Congo and Summer White Hi-Gloss feature doors and built-up accent panels. Everything is magnificently tied together with 20mm EEZI Quartz counter tops. The Island counter top down-stands perfectly frame the picture.

Careful use of under mounted sinks and prep bowls add to the modern look.

Of course only BLUM hardware was used and the HK-XS flap up stays are always great value for money and allow for the creation of stunning horizontal lines on the wall mounted cabinets. BLUMotion soft close door hinges as well as BLUM Tandem undermount drawer runners finish the ensemble.

All in all a magnificent kitchen.

What and amazing kitchen this has become. From the initial meeting with the client this design developed into a stunning modern two tone masterpiece. The PG Bison high gloss Summer White melamine boards marry perfectly with the cross grained Halifax Oak boards from EGGER. The Halifax Oak is one of the most relistic looking and feeling melamine boards I have worked with. The EEZI QUARTZ Slate tops perfectly balance the whole kitchen.

The handleless look creates a stunning seamless and smooth finish that cannot be attained using conventional handles. BLUM is the only supplier I trust for push-to-open hardware. Tried and tested, their German engineering is years ahead of the competition.

For the drawers only the MOVENTO tip-on 60kg soft closing runners would do. The flap stays used were their HK-XS tip-on soft closing variant and the remaining doors all had tip-on mechanisms added.

This couple had been using their previous kitchen for many years and were looking for a "breath of fresh air"

The space available allowed me to do something I've wanted to for many years, which was to create a seating area within the kitchen to allow guests to sit and enjoy a glass of wine whilst the hosts entertain them with their cooking skills.

The Treviso cross-grain doors have a feint grey whisper which compliments the Urban Steele textured panels perfectly. The Supamatt white accents finish off the look and the EEZI Quartz engineered stone tops bring everything together beautifully.

This client had been dreaming about her kitchen for years before she eventually asked me to come give some ideas. She relied heavily on my expertise and experience to give her all the conveniences she wanted in the compact space available.

She was away on business when we started and returned to a completed project.

Finding inspiration in Ceasarstone's new Rugged Concrete counter top, I decided to incorporate chunky Dark Grey build-ups to accentuate the stunning Sanremo Oak cross-grain doors. The theme was "Square" and this is reflected throughout the kitchen if you look closely.

BLUM Bi-fold doors were a practical, yet stylish solution to the top units making for easy access. Likewise the BLUM Tandembox Intivo runner system creates a concealed pot drawer that can easily be accessed with the touch of a button.

The Herringbone pattern subway tiles put the finishing touch to this amazing little gem.

Well, here it is now. The final product. After 3 months of hard work I present a stunning masterpiece if I may say so myself.

Every nook and cranny has been utilized to its full potential. The Deep Shaker Iceberg White vinyl wrapped doors are a unique one-of-a-kind feature. Standard shaker doors are 3mm deep. These are 9mm deep.

The Colonial White Granite counter tops accentuate the gorgeous colour scheme. Petrol Blue and Grey accents are stylishly placed to give depth and character.

The flow of this kitchen is just so perfect and certainly invites the user to spend many an evening creating wonderful dishes for the family.

I would like to thank the owners for allowing Showhouse Kitchens to create this masterpiece for them and I wish them many happy hours cooking and baking up a storm.

If I had to choose a single favourite feature of this kitchen it would have to be this custom made Butchers Block. This indigenous Blackwood was sourced from a sawmill near Groot Brak in the Western Cape. The block was manufactured in an endgrain style measuring 1000mm x 600mm x 100mm thick
