🚧 35 Potholes Repaired – Thank You to a Local Business Making a Difference! 🚧
Today, residents may have noticed that a number of potholes in and around our area were repaired. A huge thank you goes to Etienne and the team from PRO TAR & PAVING for stepping up and taking action where it was needed most.
In total, 35 potholes were filled, helping to improve road safety and undoubtedly saving many motorists from damaged tyres, rims, and suspension repairs.
Unfortunately, this is what our city has come to. If it were not for community minded residents and local businesses willing to assist, our infrastructure would deteriorate even further.
On behalf of all our residents, I would like to extend my sincere appreciation to Etienne and his team for their generosity and commitment to our community.
Sadly, the situation at the municipality remains unchanged. There is currently no tar available for pothole repairs, and even gravel is not readily available for temporary fixes. We have filled a number of potholes ourselves using gravel and cold tar, but these are only short-term solutions and are often washed away once the rains arrive.
