Here's the thing about retrospective approval.
Most people assume it's a last resort. That it's complicated, expensive, and only worth doing when you absolutely have to.
In reality, it's one of the most straightforward things we do. And the cost of not doing it, when a sale falls through or a renovation gets halted, is almost always higher.
Formalising what already exists is not an admission of wrongdoing. It's just good property ownership.
