What do you love about architecture? To truly appreciate architecture, one needs to keep the following in mind when viewing a building or space:

• Contrasting Colours and Finishes create different focal areas within a space while also allowing for a variety of moods and defined locations. These also help to soften otherwise harsher materials like our use of timber finishes and soft furnishings against the monochromatic natural stone canvas.
• Accent Elements bring to life the theme of the space – the ceiling features above the bar create the illusion of fire, while brass detailing and finishes add to the glitz and glam.
• Accentuated Interior Volume using vertical design elements – the new curved staircase, that connects both floors, emphasises the volume of the space.
• Feature Lighting helps to set the tone of different areas within a space but can also highlight the theme of the space – at Fireroom, lighting features represent the colours and shapes of a flame.
• Seating Versatility allows for year-round use, social gatherings, and creates intimate and private dining areas for guests.
• Spatial Flow is essential in allowing ease of movement for guests throughout the space for guests. It also encourages guests to do so. The main dining space at Fireroom is completely open with floor finishes creating flow, accentuating the curves and drawing guests into the space.

Project Feature: When it comes to bespoke homes, the interior is as important as the exterior in expressing a client’s personality and taste. We aim to create no distinction between the inside and outside. The statements and expectation created by the exterior should be reflected by the interior design and features and carried through the entire home.
