Welcome to HUYS; manufacturer, designer and upholsterer of furniture and soft furnishings. With an appreciation and passion for quality furniture, Steyn Vorster established HUYS in 2015. He brought almost 30 years of cumulative experience in bespoke, artisan-crafted, luxury furniture. Steyn is personally involved in the design and manufacturing of every piece, from conception to delivery, ensuring

that every project culminates in an exclusive masterpiece. HUYS’ unique vision is one of marrying the time-honoured techniques of traditional craftsmanship with quality fabrics and a unique perspective, resulting in a product that has truly redefined the concept of exclusive furnishings. HUYS prides itself as highly skilled practitioners who provide their clientele with a product that is custom-made to fit any home and lifestyle. We focus on bespoke furniture, utilising high quality durable materials, rather than the mass-produced and generic furniture of commercial manufacturers. We cater for and work closely with private clients, architects, interior designers and decorators, and pride ourselves on delivering custom products for each project.
