CONCEPTUAL DESIGN | House L - a beautiful brown stone renovation concept for a home in London.

We loved working on this concept for this client in the UK. The idea was to expand the space, create light, embrace natures simple and beautiful elements and bring together a home that evokes a feeling of peace and tranquility.

Thank you for this exciting and wonderful opportunity ✨✨✨

EXPERIENTIAL ARCHITECTURE | This is the only way I can explain this beautiful home.

Everywhere you move, every angle, and every space - is an experience. It makes you seek out the next…

It’s been a pleasure working with architects where their passion for their craft is so evident in the level of care they show, the time they invest onsite, and thought that has gone into every detail. This home is going to be out of this world 🙌

Always so lovely to, once again, be working with the team, you always make it look so effortless 🙌

I can’t wait for this beautiful young family to take their place here on our beautiful KZN coastline ! It’s been a dream of theirs, after a long time away, to finally make it back home to our warm and sunny coast!

JUST BREATHE | It’s days like this that catch you, and make you stop. Just breathe - and take it all in.

I love working with this family, on this home, and seeing all the beautiful pieces coming together.

I am just in awe of the views - and in awe of the skill, the patience and the artistry that has gone into not only making the pool tiles, but laying them! Beautiful work, by true artisans 🙌🙌🙌

Well done on a beautiful design and on the build! A shout out to on their gorgeous emerald green tiles this client chose for her pool 🙌🙌🙌

Local is just so lekker!!

A little mid-week material magic.
Here’s a look at the finishes we’re loving from a previous home we’ve worked on — warm hardwood/vinyl flooring, textured rattan doors, bold shower tiles, soft wallpaper moments, and natural stone cladding that ties everything together.

It’s all about balance: warmth, texture, contrast and longevity.
Monday inspiration!

Which finish would you bring into your home?

Reading Architectural Plans 101 Week 3: Understanding Floor Levels

If you’ve ever spotted abbreviations like FFL, SSL, or small arrows and numbers on your plans, here’s what they really mean:

FFL (Finished Floor Level):
The final height of the completed floor — tiles, timber, screed and all.

SSL (Structural Slab Level):
The height of the concrete slab before any finishes are added.

Step-Ups & Drops:
Small arrows with numbers show where your home will shift from one height to another — like stepping down into a sunken lounge or up into a bathroom.

Understanding these levels helps you visualise how your home will feel as you move through it — the transitions, the flow, and the elevation shifts that shape your everyday experience.
