At approximately 03:00 this morning, Control received a call from our client reporting vagrants pushing a trolley in the area.

H14 responded immediately and made contact with the resident of (an ADT client), who was actively searching for suspects who had stolen his bricks.

Together with the resident, H14 conducted a thorough patrol of the area and successfully located a trolley loaded with bricks at the bus stop near Schonenberg Estate. Shortly afterwards, they apprehended one suspect at the corner of Karee Street and Lourier Street.

Somerset West SAPS was notified and Constable Ntshokowana confirmed a vehicle was on the way. At 04:25, Somerset West SAPS arrived on scene alongside ADT and took control of the incident.

Well done to H14 for the fast response and excellent teamwork with the community member! 👏

On Thursday 11 June, members of the A-Team were standing off at a popular BP Filling Station on the N2 alongside SAPS when a concerned member of the public approached them.
He informed them that his brother’s vehicle had just been stolen and was being towed towards Cape Town on the N2.

Without hesitation, the A-Team jumped into action and joined forces with SAPS, proceeding down the N2. Just before the Macassar bridge, they successfully located and stopped the stolen vehicle.

Unfortunately the owner was overseas and unable to open a case at that moment, so the vehicle was safely towed back to the owner’s residence.

Another outstanding result thanks to the vigilance of the A-Team and the excellent partnership with SAPS!

On Tuesday, 02 June 2026 at approximately 00:10am, our control room received a camera trigger from Voortrekker Road.

Reaction Officer H13 Mhlongo was immediately dispatched and located a suspect in Alberts Street in possession of electrical tools. H4 Benni provided backup.

Further investigation confirmed that the tools had been stolen from
an Overview client. The suspect had gained entry by jumping over the perimeter wall and removing the items from the garage.

The client was contacted on scene and positively identified the recovered property as theirs.

South African Police Service arrived on scene at 01:04am. The suspect was arrested and handed over to SAPS. The client has indicated they will be opening a case.

Stolen property successfully recovered.

Well done to H13 Mhlongo and H4 Benni for the quick response and professional handling of the incident.

This is another example of why rapid reaction and good camera coverage make a real difference.
