The marriage of the old mud brick lady to the handsome new corrugated iron barn almost complete.

Our latest McGregor project - extensions to a raw mud brick building circa 1990's - nearing completion. The corrugated iron barn was added as a contrasting element to make a clear distinction between the original and the new. This is to our knowledge the only recent residential corrugated iron building in McGregor. Throughout the design process, the project was discussed with the McGregor Aesthetics Committee, who gave it a thumbs subject to certain conditions regarding form, colour etc. In addition to the white stinkwood tree that was retained as integral element to the composition of the street facade, the front garden will have the addition of two new pepper trees, and in years to come the barn will become almost invisible from the street. Enjoy it while you can.
