SALES REPRESENTATIVE: FENCING
Cavcon Manufacturing (Pty) Ltd, based in Kariega (Uitenhage), is seeking to employ a highly motivated and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our team. You will be responsible for generating new leads, building relationships with customers and closing sales deals.
Key Responsibilities (The position):
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients.
Contact both new customers and existing fencing customers (including palisade and agri-netting anchor blocks)
• Update page with customers’ Cavcon fencing picture and their contact details.
Future: include other social media options
• Update Contact List.
• Follow-up on payments (when necessary and very seldom).
• Liaise with haulier companies (for outsourced transport pricing).
Requirements (The person):
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Self-starter.
• ‘Hungry for success’ (highly motivated and results-oriented).
• Ability to develop and build strong customer relationships.
• ‘Extreme’ attention to detail, including both numerical and financial sales data.
• Proficiency in English and Afrikaans (isiXhosa, Zulu, etcetera could be an advantage).
• Working knowledge of MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word).
Benefits (The reward):
• Commission only,
3% for existing customers and 10% for new customers (based on actual payment, i.e. excluding debtors). For existing Estimates, including any changes, also 3%.
Commission excludes Transport charge.
Commission is based on Turnover, excluding VAT.
Other:
• Limited travelling (TBA). Office based, i.e. telephone / email / WhatsApp.
