After the fires around the garden route, we have been working hard on removing the invasive trees that create a massive fire risk. All wood is used to create hugelkultur beds (Self composting, feeding & watering), so we can plant more nutritious organic, hierloom veggies and herbs...

New Life on Our Farm, New Moon and summer finally showing it's face :) :) Meet Argo, the new addition to the Our Farm Family. Midnight surprised us with a baby C**t, what a blessing. Lots of other life keeping us tuned in to the abundance of nature.. Our planet is so magical.

Cob Building Magic...So much fun making a cob rocket stove with beautiful earth warriors :) :) Using clay, saw dust and leaf fibers off of Our Farm.. The creative juices were flowing today :) Incorporated all the elements, earth, air, fire & water.. placed the rocket stove in a fire to set.... Finished pictures coming soon.. Thank you Dijahn for sharing your cob knowledge and experience with us, thank you to all the hands, feet and special beings putting there whole heart and creative energy into this work of art ###xx

Another Hugelkultur Spiral going up in the community area and the first spiral garden growing beautifully and providing some greens for Our Farm's little family :) Grateful for every hand and heart that has been involved in the journey so far... Big Loves all round.

Translated - Hill Culture: Creating a spiral garden by digging trenches, filling with tree stumps (Invasive trees and fallen trees), Old branched, leaves, wood chips, all debris. Mimicking the natural composting in a forest. Topping with compost and topsoil and planting straight away. Creates heat inside the bed, retains water for amazing growth and extended season growing.
