We hope you’ve stayed safe through the storm and that your gardens haven’t suffered too much damage. The good news: the worst is nearly over, and the rest of the week (and weekend!) is looking sunny. ☀️

The next few days are the perfect time to:
• Clear away fallen branches and debris (remember to keep leaves as mulch).
• Make the most of the moist soil by fertilising with Atlantic Fertilisers. Our organic fertilisers don’t need to be watered in and won’t burn your plants.

Hello Gardeners! Did you know Yzergardens originally started as a garden maintenance company in Yzerfontein 16 years ago? 🧑🏻‍🌾
In our years of experience, we have developed a deep understanding of the most effective techniques for maintaining a beautiful garden and lawn. 🌿🍃
We would like to share our knowledge, especially given the recent water restrictions and the onset of rain. It's an ideal time to give your lawn a boost. We test our own products, and here's our lawn transformation in 7 days along with a step-by-step guide. 🌧🌧
Step 1: Cut your lawn and sprinkle Atlantic Fertilizer Lawn. One bag covers 100m², so a little goes a long way.
Step 2: Spread your lawn dressing and level it out with a rake. One bag covers approximately 4m² (depending on the number of holes in your lawn). Step 3: Let the rain water your lawn.
Step 4: When your lawn is ready for its first cut, do so without the grass catch to prevent sucking up the fertilizer, and the lawn dressing chunks will break up and feed the lawn again.

Yzerfontein's Garden Center will be closed tomorrow for Good Friday but will resume regular hours on Saturday and Sunday. On Monday, we'll be open from 9am to 1pm.🕘
