Experimenting with growing African Calabash 🍐

This versatile plant gifts us in so many ways !

Although not typically eaten,
It grows like a traditional pumpkin which makes for a great ground cover in the veggie garden or as a wind break if planted along a fence

Once harvested and dried the calabash gourds are hollowed out and traditionally used to store things like milk/amasi or to make musical instruments.
