Proud Moment for Sarah Ngoma Bweupe

I’m excited to share that I have been featured in the Zambia Daily Mail (Thursday, 21st May 2026, Page 10) for my journey in carpentry and construction.

From studying woodwork as an optional subject in secondary school in 2008, to running my own successful business (Finest Fit Kitchens and Wardrobes) and now becoming a lecturer in Carpentry and Joinery, this milestone is proof that passion, persistence, and hard work can break every barrier.

This feature means so much to me and further motivates me to inspire more women to enter the trades. This is not just my story it’s for every girl who has been told certain careers are “for boys only.”

Skills have no gender. Your dreams are valid. Start small, stay consistent, and keep pushing.
