"But you guys did a water survey that confirmed water availability, yet it still came out dry". Well, there is a concept called water localization. Tukonkane apa... Localized water pockets refer to isolated or confined areas within the ground where water accumulates, often surrounded by impermeable rock or soil layers. These pockets can be fractured rock aquifers, where water fills cracks and fractures in rock formations, sand or gravel lenses, where water accumulates in porous sand or gravel layers surrounded by less permeable materials, or karst features, where water collects in soluble rock formations like limestone, creating underground cavities. What does this entail? Limited extent, as pockets are often small and disconnected from larger aquifers, and variable water quality, as water chemistry can differ significantly between pockets.
