This is one of our recent installations in Chipinge, and we are proud of how it turned out,here we installed our fence with Y-overhang poles. These poles are specifically designed to carry razor wire on top for extra security. However, our client was not yet ready to install the razor wire, so we completed the fence as 1st phase !

One thing we always tell our clients is that security projects can be done in stages because doing it perfectly also means big investments. Instead of compromising on the structure, this client chose to invest in the correct Y-overhang poles now and add the razor wire later when the budget allows. Kana mari yerazorwire yazowapo tichadzoka! Razor wire is a separate installation on its own, requiring additional materials and labour. Once the client's budget is ready, we will return to complete the final phase and install the razor wire on top.

The property was also fitted with a sliding gate, showing the client's commitment to doing things properly and building a secure homestead that will last for years.We were excited to be part of this project and even happier to see another rural home receiving a strong, professional fencing solution. The fence looks neat, strong, and ready for the final touch when the razor wire is added.

Take a closer look at these two post assemblies.

The first picture uses a shorter supporter and only one supporter on the corner post.(please note that this was not done by us)
The second picture uses supporters that match the height of the corner post and two supporters to brace the corner from both directions.(wth Mandy label was done by us)

Before accepting any quotation, ask:

✅ How many supporters are being supplied per post?
✅ What is the height of the post?
✅ What is the height of the supporters?
✅ Are the supporters matching the specification of the post?
✅ What gauge and quality of materials are being used in terms of thickness and diameter?

Many clients compare price against price for the same perimeter, when they should be comparing specifications against specifications.

This is a great example of why securing your land should be one of the first investments after purchase. Our client in Chiweshe has only placed a simple wooden cabin on the property so far, but they understood the importance of protecting their investment from the very beginning.

Last time I posted a video where we buried a fence 30cm underground and secured it with concrete for a pig project. Most comments were against it, saying the fence would rust..maiwee nanhasi ndichiri kungoshurwa papost iyoyo hanzi.mungacherera fence mune idi here kkkk apa it was client request mufunge!

But here's the challenge: dogs, rabbits, and other animals can dig under fences and create gaps. We are currently dealing with neighbour's dogs digging under our fence and getting into the yard....apa ndakaona shona bhoki wepanext door akutomhanyisa Germany Sherphard wangu😂kunodai kutoona hepano pacherwa zigomba pasi pefence!

So, for those with experience, what is the best solution to stop animals from digging underneath a fence kana muchiti hazviiti kuti ticherere mbijana!
