Calathea facts
- They are known as prayer plants because their leaves fold up at night and open during the day, like they’re saying a little bedtime prayer
- Each leaf has unique patterns, stripes, spots, and brushstroke designs. No two leaves are exactly the same!
- They are tropical plants, so they thrive in humid environments. Think bathroom vibes or misty mornings. Best when placed in a bathroom with light, bedroom, living room and officeml.
- Good news! Most Calatheas are non-toxic to pets, making them safe for homes with curious cats and dogs.
- Their calming presence and rhythmic leaf movement make them perfect for creating a relaxing, peaceful space.
