“Woodfire Pizza Oven”

This built in entertainment area has stainless steel under bench commercial fridge, sink & of course, this massive woodfire pizza oven.

It has full chimney & mosaic terracotta tiles.

This oven had to be grouted with Spectralock Pro Premium Epoxy Grout to comply with food Health & Safety requirements (this pizza oven is for private/personal use but still good to use materials that will be resistant to bacterial growth).

“Designer (lovers/newly weds) Ensuite Bathroom”

This was a very interesting bathroom we have ever done.

It is completely open to the bedroom with only a thickened glass (like a fish tank) absolutely no walls.

Niches are installed with LED Lights (x2 in the shower & long in rear wall for for candles & other bathroom decor.

Shower screen is to be installed from left wall then rounded edge to meet tiled column, then from other side wrapping around with glass opening in the centre. Shower heads are located on in the column & left wall plus x2 rainfall shower heads.

In-wall toilet cistern on left wall just outside shower screen & dual sink vanity unit located on the right section of bathroom wall.

Floor & feature wall
- 450mm x 450mm ceramic cushion edged tiles grouted with Ardex #43 Battleship

Main walls
- 300mm x 600mm matte finish rectified ceramic tiles laid horizontally & grouted with Ardex #35 Brilliant White
> those black things on those white tiles are just duct tapes to protect dark grout from discolouring the light grout. We often do this when contrasting grout colours often meet.

Niche
- mosaic tiles with circular random colours were installed on the face of niches
> white wall tiles for internal walls (miter cut instead of trim work)
> feature wall tiles for rear niche internal wall also miter cut instead of trim work

Column (was to be fitted with custom rounded edge shower screen)
- tiled with brick rustic look sealed tiles also mitre cut instead on trim work grouted with Ardex #387 Charcoal Ash

Riser (step up into bathroom)
- floor tiles where installed in perfect alignment with floor grout joints complete with black 10mm brush finished aluminium L-shape angle.

Installed with Geometric Pattern black & white 200mm x 200mm tiles, grouted with Ardex FSDD #311 Slate Grey (very smooth) & completed with brush finished 10mm Retro trim work around all edges & silicone to painted walls.

“State of the Art Driveway”

This several years old driveway was is a very bad shape.

Original tilers (now out of business) installed these clay pavers dry & only had tile adhesive on the outside to hold everything in the middle. This of course had caused cracking & movements (loose tiles) particularly since tile adhesive used was also not the right material for the job.

We were engaged to carry out scope of redoing this driveway which involved the following ;
- removing & keeping all good/usable pieces
- prime & prep concrete
- install pavers with Laticrete 254 Platimum on EVERY SINGLE clay paver
- grey cement base grout

We also used Concrete Sealer SV28 by Oncrete Australia Pty Ltd to deliver excellent performance in protection against soiling & car grease/oil marks. This product is high gloss creating that ‘wet look’ aesthetic presentation.

Overall, clients were absolutely astonished with the overall transformation of their very sad driveway ☺️.

Main bathroom……

Wall tiles are in brickbond design with 100mm x 200mm ceramic cushion edged tiles from finish floor to square set ceiling.

Floor tiles are Heritage Lotus Black Encaustic 200mm x 200mm.

Because of tiles being black & white, I recommended black grout to create a ‘one piece’ visual effect enhancing its elegance & beauty.

Unfortunately, clients wanted only one colour grout to be used everywhere (walls & floor) which they later regretted & agreed that black grout on floor would have been a better choice. However, they were still happy with the results as it truly was a stunning bathroom.

The entire bathroom has been grouted & silicone with Ardex #241 Misty Grey (ultra smooth).

This stunning design of ‘campfire’ nook is one truly breathtaking creations for friends & family to enjoy on those cold winder nights.

100mm x 100mm x 25mm Cobalt Stone tiles were used to create a Mediterranean experience complete with cement bench installed with solar LED lights.

PCA SurfaceSeal was immediately applied on tile, grout & concrete bench to for a high-gloss finish & excellent protection against staining.

This beautiful Queenslander has been fully renovated making it shine ✨ once again.

Tim the builder had meticulously kept his sharp eyes crafting such a magical & truly impressive structure.

Job involved complete removal of ALL existing tiles in preparation for new tiling application.

Coping was outsourced to a company in Eagle Farm to shape bullnose.

Garden edge/retaining wall was installed with negative waterproofing then installed with stacked stone.

Main tiles are 300mm x 300mm with R11 slip rating compliant with National Construction Code (NCC).

Massive 4500mm x 3000mm ensuite bathroom

Floor:
- Terracotta look tiles 300mm x 300mm laid diagonally complete with featured borders & spa with walk-in shower, double vanity & enclosed toilet.

Walls & spa:
- Tiled with ceramic cushion edged 500mm x500mm tiles.
- Feature wall lined with terracotta approximately 170 from finished floor in shower enclosure & spa apron.
- Toilet only had 150mm wall skirts of wall tiles.
