The new owner of the property wanted a boundary fence installed to keep their dog in and to add a bit of privacy.

Hardwood posts were set in concrete along the boundary.
Treated pine sleepers were used for plinth boards and treated pine fence rails and palings for the fence.

A galvanised gate frame was installed to give access to the back yard.

One happy customer.
Installed the decking boards to the frame we did a while back.

The owner has painted the frame with Bitumen to give it more protection against the elements.
Installed 140mm Merbau secured with countersunk stainless steel screws.

Nice straight lines with perfectly spaced and aligned screws.

Now just for some decking oil to get that perfect finish.

Decking frame we did last week.
140x45mm external structural pine secured with steel post and joist hangers.
The frame is build away from the house and retainer to prevent and check for termite activity.
The owner has started to apply some bitumen to the frame for extra protection against moisture.
Once that is all done the decking timber will go down.
Watch this space for an update after the decking has been installed.

Today was all about fencing.
Removed the old painted pine palings from the fence and gate.
Gave it a new updated look to go with the new paint job the house recently had.
Nice colorbond panels complimented by merbau to the top and bottom of the fence.

Grey and weathered, this deck was in need of some decking oil.

Replaced a broken board, hammered in all protruding nails heads and gave it a good sand to get rid of all the flake.

Applied a couple generous coats of Merbau decking oil to bring it back to life.

Plumbers can be a bit rough sometimes.

The owner was looking to install a new toilet when a leak was discovered.
The plumber had to open up the wall to install new fittings.

I had the task of restoring the wall back to its former state.

Firstly cut away all the wet and damaged plasterboard.
Installed new plasterboard and patched.
Sealed all edges and applied waterproofing.

Installed new skirting tiles, grouted and sealed with silicone.

Painted wall to match the rest of the walls.

The toilet was installed the next day by the plumber.

Replaced it with a Vitreous China drop in basin and upgraded to a mixer tap.

Another pressure clean job. Outdoor cleaner applied to treat the mould on the tiles before cleaning.

Helped a friend a while back to prep and pour a 3x3 meter concrete shed slab for a customer in Ormeau.

Forgot the photo where we put down builders film and reinforcement mesh before pouring the concrete, but we have installed it.
