This one, painting a fence, has been a slow transformation with some learning from mistakes along the way. But I have persevered and finished and now the landscaper is in and refreshing the garden beds.

First it was removing the climbing vine and the bamboo fence and lattices, then the asbestos super-six fence was sealed with oil-based and painted with water based.

This was a tough one today!
Getting these old broken slats off a driveway gate and replacing them with some fantastic steel garden screens. To do it I needed to cut them to fit and make custom brackets.

I lost a nice drill bit in the process 😭

(The client is going to fill the vertical gaps with mesh or other material at a later date, it is intentional)

A quick replacement of these old wooden frames that were starting to sag quite a lot with some new metal frames from Bunnings.
Because this is just a wood shed, the client wasn't after perfection and so this ended up being a quicker job than what a full gate install might look like.

I always wear my PPE at every job, and that include sun protection. While I was replacing some roof sheets on a veranda, my drill punched through the sheet steel faster than I expected and caught my finger - but I had gloves!
Don't frown at protection. I've seen what happens when metal meets your hand.
