Sliced thinly after boiling and shelling, these bunya nuts are being air-dried then will be put outside to dry naturally in the sun. (will try dehydrator on next batch). Just another experiment I'm trying here at home while I still got access to the Bunya trees. (the property may soon be in the market - lucky future owner). Apparently this nut is so nutritious; it's definitely worth the effort to try and make flour out of it and create what they call "Bunya meal"...so we'll see.

They can also be boiled, roasted, thrown in an open fire/charcoal, and according to google is also good to mix with other dishes like curries etc.
