💚 Friday Feels | Let’s Start the Conversation👋👏👇
Sometimes the most important conversation starts with three little words…
“Are you okay?”
Mental health conversations don't always have to start when someone is at breaking point.
They can start with a Gday mate 👋
A coffee.
A walk.
A text message.
A laugh.
A quiet “You seem a little different lately… how are you really going?”
Because behind the smile, the busy schedule, the “I’m fine” and the “I’ve got this”… sometimes there’s a whole lot more going on.
And this conversation is for everyone.
We talk a lot about men and su***de and we absolutely need to.
But we also need to talk about women who are struggling silently, including women who self-harm. We need to talk about young people. Parents. Partners. Mums. Dads. Our mates. Our workmates. The people who seem to have everything together.
Mental health doesn't discriminate. Neither should our willingness to talk about it.
So this Friday, let's make a little more room for the conversation.
💚 Check in on someone.
💚 Ask the second question—not just “Are you okay?”
💚 Listen without trying to fix everything.
💚 And if you're the one struggling, please know that asking for help isn't weakness.
You don't have to wait until things are really bad to talk.
Let's start the conversation.
Let's keep it going.
And let's make it easier for someone else to start theirs.
Friday Feels 💚
Because sometimes, a conversation can change everything.
