Spring time Top dressing 2mm Level 😍 ⛳️

I must admit I really do not like September weather 😂 rain , miserable and more rain, so when you get a window, take it.

3am start at the yard to load up to beat any chance of rain and opening time for this venue, and then more importantly make it in time for medals 🏅 for Sports carnival 🥰 🙃

A cheeky 10m3 spread this morning and dragged, time-frames are always tight at the joint with events and weddings, cant always get perfectly dry and pristine conditions, but the end result is what matters 👌

It was a first proper run for the HDX today and it smashed it out of the park ⚾️ 🤙 a stereo would top it off and some sort of anti-vibration camera mounts i think.

⚠️ But it is official, Top Dressing has begun finally 🥳 at this stage, Large properties only until the Pedestrian spreader turns up.

Absolutely Perfect spraying weather 🌞 💦👌

Aerated and fertilised 2 weeks ago to get the weeds growing so the spray is more effective and smacks off as many as possible, Ill always say it, If your going to proceed with anything that will put stress on a lawn then fertilise a week or two prior and recovery will be so much quicker 😀

99% broadleaf weeds which are very easy to get rid of, in most cases 1 spray at the right time 👌
The slightest of breezes and sun shining ✨️ 💛
A dash of iron for an even greener pop 🥳

This is the lawn hydroseeded a while back, will be interesting to see how this one compares to the brother lawn just next to it Hydroseeded earlier this year and kept at different heights

Now to keep myself busy so I dont scalp my own lawns out of boredom 🫣

I must say the Peruzzo is such a good collection mower 👌 ⛳️

❗️Tip for top dressing

If you're planning on top dressing get down your fertiliser a week or two earlier, then when you're ready to top dress, give the lawn a low mow because this will give you much better results and allow you to work that sand or soil in so much smoother, resulting in a much much flatter lawn rather than trying to fight long grass and dragging in sand 🥴

I forgot to order myself a Mesh screen for Top dressing season 🤦 Every year 😂 so I decided to quickly make one and test it , surprisingly very effective 🙃 it will be bloody awesome for core smashing 💪

I can feel spring approaching 😌 so very close now 🥳

A little Saturday morning oversize pile screening 😀

10mm screened, perfect for that sub base for lawns 😍 or it can get screened down even further to some of that 2mm Top dress perfection 👌 ⛳️

Ever so slightly faster to screen , but still wet 😬 should be spreading the first lot in a week or two I think, if it warms up slightly

2mm Screening weather is almost here 😍

I may have started a little early however i needed to make sure everything was still good after sitting since summer, a good grease up, belt adjustments and boom 💥 screener is good to go

Now to just wait for a good stretch of dry weather and ill be able to screen in bulk 🥳

And its finally found the sneaky hole that was causing me grief and letting little stones though 😬 🤬 All plugged up now 👌

✅️ So this product is the CTS Level (nice and simple , straight to the point) use it for top dressing and achieve a flatter lawn.
