We had a great afternoon at our recent ESC Engineering catch-up, bringing together our team, clients and industry friends for plenty of good conversations, laughs and time away from the usual project discussions.

ESC Engineering provided the electrical services design for the redevelopment of Shirley Strickland Reserve, delivering a modern two-storey sporting facility for the local community.

The completed redevelopment replaced the existing clubhouse with new changerooms, function spaces, leasable areas, a bar, kitchen, and outdoor entertaining spaces. The project also included upgraded sports field lighting, a new playground, and improved parking facilities.

Our scope included lighting, low-voltage (LV) power distribution, communications, fire detection, security, and CCTV systems, supporting a safe, functional, and future-ready community facility.

ESC Engineering is proud to have contributed to the delivery of the Langford Indoor Sports Centre, the City of Gosnells' first dedicated indoor multisport facility.

Designed to support a growing and active community, the new centre features four indoor courts, including a show court with spectator grandstand, along with modern amenities that provide a flexible space for a wide range of sporting and community activities.

ESC Engineering delivered the electrical services design for the project, including lighting, low voltage (LV) power distribution, communications, fire detection, security and CCTV systems. All services were developed in Revit with BIM coordination to support efficient collaboration throughout the design process.

Projects like this demonstrate how well-coordinated electrical design helps create safe, functional and future-ready community infrastructure. We're proud to have played a part in delivering a facility that will serve the City of Gosnells for years to come.

The UDIA WA Awards for Excellence recognise projects that demonstrate achievement across community creation, innovation and sustainability, celebrating the people and teams contributing to Western Australia’s urban development industry.
