Welcome to Neo Interior Design, Hi I'm Lauren Stephenson - Managing Director. Coming from a family of designers, I have naturally had a love and flair for interiors. I started my journey in the furniture and tiling industry, enhancing my product knowledge. Then after 10 years of learning and studying interior design, I established Neo Interior Design in 2013. I quickly realised a lot of my clients

couldn’t visualise how products and colours would look in their homes and all they needed was someone from the outside looking in, with an eye for detail. Once I started to see how happy my clients were from the end results, I realised I had found my passion.

Before Kingsley became Kingsley, there were 3D visuals, material samples, furniture selections and plenty of decisions made (and remade) along the way.

It’s where we test things, move things around, question a finish and sometimes go right back to the drawing board.

Because by the time everything lands in the home, we want it to feel like it was always meant to be there.

The finished space is beautiful. The process is what gets it there. 🤎

Spot the arch. 👀

Once you notice them throughout our Floreat project, you can’t unsee them.

Repeated curves were used throughout the home to soften the architecture, create flow between spaces and give the interiors a subtle rhythm without everything needing to match.

From doorways to joinery and smaller details, each curve quietly speaks to the next.

- Colour where you least expect it.
- Sconces over another predictable table lamp.
- Oversized artwork, properly custom framed, because tiny art floating on a huge wall is simply not it.

The Kingsley dining room had the space. It just needed a little more personality.

Rather than overcomplicating it, we focused on the details that would completely shift the way the room felt.

New lighting, furniture, a fresh paint colour and wainscoting brought warmth, character and definition to a space that previously felt a little lost.

Nothing drastic. Just the right changes, in the right places.

Now this is a dining room worth lingering in. 🤎

A kitchen designed around the way this family really lives. 🤎

With young kids in mind, we opted for a built-in bench seat in place of a traditional raised kitchen bench, creating a relaxed spot for everyday meals, homework and time together while still feeling connected to the kitchen.

The upholstery was selected with family life in mind too -durable, practical and easy to clean when the inevitable spills and little marks happen.

A considered balance of beautiful design and everyday functionality.
