𝐒𝐓𝐄𝐄𝐋- 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐩𝐨𝐨𝐥!

Before the beautiful tiles, sparkling water and finished landscaping, there’s something you don’t see once the pool is complete - the steel cage.

This is where strength starts!

Every pool we build is reinforced with a carefully constructed steel cage, shaped to follow the exact design of the pool. It forms the structural framework that supports the concrete shell and helps create a pool built to stand the test of time.

It’s not the most glamorous part of building a pool… but it’s one of the most important.

Because when you’re investing in a custom concrete pool, what’s underneath matters just as much as what you see.

A HELICOPTER, AN EXCLUSION ZONE & ONE VERY SPECIAL POOL WINDOW 🚁

Today was all about precision.

With an exclusion zone in place, we couldn’t get as close as we normally would during the installation — so we captured the action from down the street as this custom acrylic pool window was lifted into position.

Once it was safely in place, our team worked alongside AAT on the finishing touches to bring it all together.

It’s the kind of installation that takes careful planning, specialist equipment and a whole lot of precision — but the end result is going to be something very special. 👌

Another custom detail from Cloud 9 Pools, creating bespoke concrete pools across the Illawarra, Shoalhaven & South Coast.

Would you put an acrylic window in your pool? 👀

It’s all about the layers. 🤎🩶🖤

This pool is a beautiful example of how texture, colour and contrast can work together to create a space with real depth and character.

The deep, reflective tones of the pool interior create a dramatic foundation, balanced by the soft grey tones and natural variation of the surrounding stone.

Behind it, the warm tones and vertical texture of the WPC cladding add another layer, bringing warmth and definition while creating a beautiful backdrop to the pool.

Then there’s the crisp rendered wall, lush greenery and subtle variation in the pool tiles, each element adding its own texture without competing for attention.

The result is contemporary, warm and incredibly cohesive.

Because great pool design isn’t just about the pool…
it’s about how every texture, colour and material works together. ✨

From an empty backyard... to a resort-style retreat. ✨

This transformation is proof of what’s possible with the right design and attention to detail.

Featuring a fully tiled concrete pool, every element was carefully selected to create a timeless, luxurious finish. The rich tile colour gives the water incredible depth and sparkle, while the clean lines make this space feel effortlessly elegant.

It’s hard to believe this is the same backyard.

If you’re dreaming of turning your outdoor space into somewhere you’ll love spending every summer, we’d love to help bring that vision to life.

Which Beadcrete colour is right for you? 🤍💙🩵

The Beadcrete colour you choose plays a huge role in the colour of your pool water. From deep ocean blues to vibrant tropical aquas and soft crystal-clear lagoons, each finish creates a completely different look and feel.

Your final water colour is also influenced by:
💧 Pool depth
☀️ Natural sunlight and the time of day
🏡 Surrounding paving and landscaping
🎨 Waterline tile selection

Choosing the right Beadcrete isn’t just about picking a colour, it’s about creating the look and atmosphere you want every time you step outside.

At Cloud 9 Pools, we’ll guide you through the selection process. If you’d like extra confidence in your choice, the experienced teams at Lifestile Pavers and Designer Beadcrete are also available to help you coordinate colours and create the perfect combination for your dream pool.
