Position: Lead Hand
As a Lead Hand, you will drive our truck and trailer, overseeing lawn cutting services for residential properties approximately 3 to 4 days a week to start. There may be opportunities for additional work, including the winter months. For the right candidate, this position offers potential for career growth within our expanding company as new services are introduced. We value an intrapreneurial mindset and dedication to company growth. Initial workload is around 30+ hours per week.

Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise team members to ensure efficient service delivery.
Perform a variety of lawn care tasks, including mowing, spring/fall clean-ups, hedge trimming, and potentially fertilization, overseeding, and w**d control. etc.
Mentor team members in lawn care techniques and safety procedures.
Collaborate with management to plan daily schedules and optimize operations.
Maintain and inspect equipment for proper functioning, and perform basic maintenance when required.
Engage professionally with clients, addressing inquiries and concerns.
Provide progress reports and suggest improvements to management.
Qualifications:
Valid G License with a clean driving abstract.
3-5 years of experience in the lawn care/landscaping industry.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
Knowledge of lawn care techniques, equipment including: push mowers, zero-turn mowers, w**d whackers, blowers etc., and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
Mature, reliable, punctual, and adaptable.
Strong problem-solving, organizational, and critical thinking skills.
Physically fit and able to work at a fast pace.
Capable of withstanding diverse weather conditions.
Detail oriented.
