Pinch me, I’m dreaming!

Our new library is also almost complete. The hardwood is installed, the beams are in, the walls and ceiling have been painted a beautiful dark mink hue, the furniture has arrived, and now the art is going up!

So many gorgeous details to take in! Only thing left is our bookcases to be installed and styled.

For the custom upholstery in my new home I knew I’d work with Whittington & Company to manufacture our great room sectional and library sofa.

Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from the finer manufacturing details, to using the best fabrics and selecting the perfect wood finishes.

Locally made, beautifully crafted, and designed specifically for our home. That’s the difference!

So much happening at our house these last couple weeks. Tile started, ceiling details in library and loft complete, vaulted ceiling complete, hardwood floor install complete.

Next up: millwork install.

Is it Christmas? It feels like Christmas!! 🙌🏻

Look what arrived at my favourite lighting store ! Check out my kitchen island lighting! These are the Rise & Shine pendants. They are large scale with a rust patina. Very organic, perfect for our vaulted ceiling.

I cannot wait to show you ALL the incredible lighting I have selected for my new home!

This Toronto project has been a complex and rewarding one, seamlessly integrating a heritage home with a substantial new build.

The goal from the beginning was to preserve the original character while layering in the functionality and features of a new home. The result will be a timeless transformative new home!!
