This weekend we celebrated the 10th anniversary of Sweet Pea Gardening ❤️

To say I am proud would be an understatement. I’ve said it before, I think we are super heroes. We work hard, we create beautiful green spaces and deliver help to those who need it. I am so blessed and grateful to be able to call this my job, work with all the amazing people I call staff and clients, and call these beautiful gardens my office.

Thank you again to all the people in my corner that have helped along the way. Cheers!!!🥂

Plant of the week!!!

The most beautiful leaf to capture the rain belongs to the lovely Lady’s Mantle. 🍀

The scientific name Alchemilla comes from the Arabic word for alchemy. Medieval alchemists believed the sparkling water droplets collected in the leaves were the purest, most heavenly water on Earth and coveted them for experiments. 🤓

Luminous in the late spring or early summer, Trollius europaeus (Globe Flower) is a charming upright perennial with large, bowl-shaped, lemon-yellow flowers resembling double buttercups. 🌼
Borne on erect stalks, the attractive blooms are held high above a pillow of deeply divided, dark green leaves. This perennial thrives in damp environments where it creates a wonderful splash of color during its blooming season.
