Meet our November + December Designer Vignette, created by Michael Anderson of HAUS Interiors.

Our Designer Vignette Series invites Calgary’s talented interior designers into the Interior Living studio to take over a space and make it entirely their own, mixing furniture, art, texture and objects to show us design through their eyes.

For this edition, we’re welcoming Michael Anderson, Project Director and founder of HAUS Interiors | Calgary Interior Design . Michael and his team have transformed hundreds of rooms and spaces across Calgary, blending function, beauty and personal style in every project.

Originally launched as Anderson Interiors in 2024 and rebranded as HAUS Interiors in 2025, the studio is both an interior design firm and licensed general contractor, taking projects from the first idea through to the final reveal.

Now we’ve handed Michael the keys to the vignette. Come see what he created in studio this November + December.

The only thing scarier than Halloween?

Having to leave the house when you’re this cozy.

Our gorgeous throw blankets are giving major “cancel my plans, I’m booked and bundled” energy.

Warning: You may develop an emotional attachment to your throw blanket. We fully support this behaviour.

Come find your new favourite at Interior Living.

Hosted by press PLAY and BOLD Workshop Architecture Architecture, the morning featured an incredible panel of creative entrepreneurs: Patti Dibski of Gibson Fine Art and Interior Living, Ellinor Stenroos of E. V. Stenroos -Designer Jeweller , and fashion designer LJ | Leela Jacobs of Leela Jacobs.

From art and architecture to jewellery and fashion, one thing was clear: creativity and commerce don’t have to compete. They can thrive together.

Not all furniture is created equal. And the difference isn’t always obvious at first glance.

From the materials beneath the surface to the craftsmanship, construction and details that make a piece truly functional, there’s a lot more to great furniture than meets the eye.

At Interior Living, we’re proud to showcase thoughtfully designed furniture from Canadian favourites like Huppé, Mobican, EQ3, Romano and Trica, alongside European design from Furninova, Calligaris and beautiful textiles from Jaipur Rugs and Surya.

Because choosing furniture isn’t just about how it looks today. It’s about how it lives with you for years to come.

Save this post before your next furniture purchase, and visit our Calgary studio to discover the difference for yourself.

Wood is having a moment. We never stopped loving it.

Looking to warm up your home this fall? Start with wood.

From rich walnut and warm oak to beautiful natural grains and sculptural silhouettes, incorporating wood furniture is one of the easiest ways to bring warmth, texture and character into a space.

And the best part? You don’t have to match your woods. Mixing tones, finishes and grains creates a layered, collected look that feels effortlessly inviting.

Our very own Melissa walks us through why we’re falling for wood all over again.

Come explore the possibilities at Interior Living and find your perfect piece.
