1. YOU FIND IT - IKEA. Wayfair. Structube. Costco. Amazon. Wherever you've found the piece you want.
2. SEND IT TO ME - Send me the product link or information along with a few details about the assembly.
3. GET YOUR QUOTE - I'll review the item and provide pricing before we schedule the job.
4. I BUILD IT - I'll arrive with the tools and take care of the assembly.
5. YOU ENJOY IT - Without ever having to figure out what Screw B17 was supposed to do. 😂

That's it.

Can we normalize homes that aren't “finished”?
There will always be another room, piece of furniture, light fixture, another project and that's okay. I work in design and even my own home continues to change.

Buy the piece you love. Wait for the right artwork. Live with the empty corner for a while.

I'd rather see a home slowly filled with things someone genuinely loves than one filled quickly just so it can be called "done."

DESIGNER CONFESSION: I don't think open concept is always better.

For years, the answer to almost every renovation seemed to be, tear down the walls! and sometimes that's absolutely the right decision. But sometimes a wall can help create intimacy, give furniture somewhere to live, and hide the kitchen mess when you're entertaining.

I'm much more interested in creating good flow between rooms than automatically turning an entire main floor into one giant room.

Open concept can be beautiful. But so can a home with actual rooms.

Sometimes my job is actually talking a client OUT of spending money.

More expensive doesn't automatically mean better. There are places in a project where I think it's worth investing and there are other places where we can pull back without sacrificing the overall design.

A big part of my job is figuring out where the money will have the most impact.
Good design isn't about spending the most. It's about spending intentionally.
