We are previous farmers that support LOCAL farmers. We love Ontario and we feel that we are lucky to live in such a beautiful province.

Our area is know for fruit and within a 100 mile radius our vegetables come from Bradford Marsh, Niagara and Simcoe area. We deal with the best farmers in Ontario!!!! Thank a farmer today for feeding our cities.

While I am closed today I am busy setting up the FERTILIZER, LOCAL annuals, hanging baskets, mixed planters and much more for MOTHERS DAY!!
On Wednesday we will have a full line of vegetable plants!!!
So exciting to see all of this coming in once again.
Now we need mother nature to show us some warmer nights for planting.

Yes, Terry Gallagher has FULLY RETIRED. He is healthy and happy. He has worked since he was 6 years old. He started working along with his siblings on his parents farm in Fonthill back in 1950. Through the years he not only farmed, worked at GM for over 30 years, went to many markets to sell his produce that he grew, operated the store for over 50 years and still had time to look after his own property. Yes, Farming is in his blood and always will be. But it is time for him to enjoy time with family and friends and see the rest of Canada. As for me, well I am semi-retired. I have worked 2 and 3 jobs all of my life also. Now is the time to work less hours and spend the rest of my time with family and friends.

On this cold and snowy day our elves have just finished setting up our last load of fresh cut trees we picked up. Sizes range from 6' to 11'. Fraser Fir, Canaan Fir, Scots Pine, White Pine, Blue Spruce and Concolour Fir. We are running low on Fresh Garland, boughs, wreaths and outdoor planters. Perfect day to pick up some firewood by the bag, bin, 1/4 cord, 1/2 cord or full face cord.

It is Christmas time at Gallagher's. We picked up our 5th load of fresh cut trees already. Our elves have been working very hard to get everything set up for you to choose your cut tree, potted tree, christmas planters, poinsettias, garland, wreaths and so much more. Firewood has been selling like crazy with this cold weather. Fresh baked pies, tarts and meat pies. Our elves and grower have been super busy this week picking up these beautiful fresh cut Christmas trees grown locally. Right now we have over 400 in stock and they are selling quick!!!
