Gallaghers Farm Market We are previous farmers that support LOCAL farmers. We love Ontario and we feel that we are lucky to live in such a beautiful province.

Our area is know for fruit and within a 100 mile radius our vegetables come from Bradford Marsh, Niagara and Simcoe area. We deal with the best farmers in Ontario!!!! Thank a farmer today for feeding our cities.

Update---FINALLY. Sorry for being late. Been busy.
The store is officially sold!! Terry, Gizmo and I would like to THANK every single customer, employee and supplier over the past 53 years!! All of you made Gallagher's Farm Market!!! We appreciate everyone's support through the years. But the time has come for us to enjoy time with family and friends. We will miss each and everyone of you. But......in saying that, we hope to see you once the new owners open it back up as a butcher shop, scoop ice cream, bbq pit, local produce store and plants.
We are very excited to see this happen. There is absolutely nobody else we would trust to take over our place. This young couple has great ideas, great ambition, care about our community and customers. We wish them much success in their future!!!
I will keep you posted as it gets closer to the opening!!
Hope to see everyone at the bbq pit once it opens.

Yes, Terry Gallagher has FULLY RETIRED. He is healthy and happy. He has worked since he was 6 years old. He started working along with his siblings on his parents farm in Fonthill back in 1950. Through the years he not only farmed, worked at GM for over 30 years, went to many markets to sell his produce that he grew, operated the store for over 50 years and still had time to look after his own property. Yes, Farming is in his blood and always will be. But it is time for him to enjoy time with family and friends and see the rest of Canada. As for me, well I am semi-retired. I have worked 2 and 3 jobs all of my life also. Now is the time to work less hours and spend the rest of my time with family and friends.
