Travelling vicariously through others is still a form of travel, so sneak a peek into our recent trip to Portugal
We recently returned and the next trip was halfway planned while we were still in the country so safe to say, it won’t be our last adventure in Portugal.
A lot of inspiration for the store comes out of my travels and this trip was no different. Many items came home in my suitcase and it was a fun release of items last week headed to new homes.
We focused out travel in Lisbon and the surrounding area so we could really get to know the area and have time to meander instead of rushing through train stations and switching hotels constantly. Everyone starts to learn what kind of traveller or vacationer they are as they do more and more. Trying to nail a million things into one trip is not our style and we are much more go with the flow people than having all of our days booked.
To each their own.
Highlights for us:
Castelo de sao Jorge
Manteigaria pastel de nata, we tried many and these were the favourites
The peacocks everywhere
Fiera de Ladra
Quinta de Regaleira
The Food and back alleys of Aflama
Honest Greens: can we get those franchised here?
Until the next time,
Meg
