As they’re ready, I’ll let you know right here and you can purchase via my website under “Fresh Flowers’ (etransfer will still be available) You can choose from jar arrangements, wrapped bunches or d.i.y buckets all made just for you with what’s currently blooming at that time.

I’ve also been working on a little something for our neighbourhood/ community that will debut soon, stay tuned for sneak peeks👀💐

After a week of 30°c + temps & 40+ km winds, we finally have a beautiful warm overcast day and RAIN 🌧️ The garden has visibly grown in such a short time🙌🏼 (and so have the weeds & mosquitos 🦟 I don’t recall ever seeing them this bad so early in the year) Seeding trays, pots and the grow room have been tucked away and now we wait for handfuls of beauty again💛

The chaos garden got a 20’ expansion this spring🎉 It’s loaded with perennials and annual seedlings and will be an explosion of color in just a few months. Speaking of chaos…

I find myself missing static social media posts, photos and video where I can zoom in, linger on, flipping through at my own pace with thoughts written by humans vs. the noise of fast paced trendy reels and bot captions. Anyone else? I think I’ll try to bring more of that back to this space, starting with these delicious tulips blooming away despite the intense wind and heat this week.

The dahlias are all planted aside from some late cuttings I took to expand my stock of a few special varieties including;
Florelie Antique
Hollyhill Ruby Rose
Hollyhill Golden Glow
Fairway Pilot
Rhubarb & Custard
Bloomquist Fairytale
& Ms. Peachy

I’m waiting for the wind to die down before planting out my tomatoes, scoop scabiosa, zinnias and collarette dahlias, it’s felt like August behaviour in Sk this week but next week looks like the perfect conditions to plant the last of the garden 💛

🎶These are a few of my favorite things 🎶

We’re still willing the snow to melt and temps to rise in Sk but your tubers are packed up waiting for a safe shipping window, cuttings are thriving and the last of my seed starting is in progress. Despite our recent blizzard and freezing over nights, we’re holding onto hope as only gardeners can💛

1 dahlia completely changed my life & I’ve never looked back✨

This seasons goal is to take more video of bouquets & bunches, I have thousand of photos but precious few videos. And while I have a roster of stunning dahlias, I’ll be focusing all of my energy on my dahlia seedlings in 2026🤞🏼Thanks so much for your joining me here, there’s so much beauty still to come💛
