From design concept to real life… a little look at how this one is coming together.
If you haven’t seen this project yet, we’re building this primary ensuite entirely from the ground up—a brand new space designed to feel old-world, traditional and warm, with just enough depth and moodiness to feel almost candlelit.
The vision is rooted in traditional materials, with character coming through the details—profiles, edges, curves and thoughtful transitions that bring softness and a little romance to the everyday.
Renderings helped us bring that vision into focus while working through the realities of a new space—cabinetry layouts, walkways, scale and proportion, along with creatively concealing plumbing and navigating changing ceiling heights.
For the finishes, it’s less about one hero material and more about the layers to come. Creams, blues, greys and browns, unexpected pairings, subtle texture and moments of bold veining will continue to add depth as the room takes shape.
And now we’re getting to the really good part. The vanity is in, the linen tower is underway, and we’re starting to see glimpses of what we’ve been imagining for months; with stone, plumbing fixtures and plenty of finishing details still to come.
It’s not finished yet, but watching a space go from an idea on a screen to something we can actually stand inside might just be the best part! 🤎
