We have something new and interesting in the green house 💜 Akoya tomato hanging baskets

The Akoya is a unique, compact determinate tomato variety known for its striking glossy black/purple cocktail-sized fruits that ripen to shades of deep orange and red. Prized for its sweet flavor, dark green-purple foliage.

Day 1 Complete!! Saturday: A great day of Speak & Shows, Demonstrations, Team building, Bench Show, Awards, 4-H Olympic Games and so much more! Thanks to everyone who took the time to come by and support our 4-H Clubs!! The kids had a fantastic time!

Tomorrow/Sunday will be another full day of Livestock Showing (Starts at 11am) and don't forget the Auction starts at 3pm

We also have 2 wheelbarrows generously donated to auction off to raise money for our Clubs!! We tested them out ;)

Our next featured garden is the Lori Craig Garden. Inspired by the ruggedness of the Kootenay's, this garden integrates rocks, grasses, wood, maple trees and other raw elements to create a garden that echoes the land around us.

The 'visiting artists' are Lori Craig herself and Gayle Andrews who will be sharing their garden inspired quilt and textile art.

Lori loves being creative whether it is with a pen, paintbrush, threads or even a garden hoe! Gayle has evolved to quilt making, playing with colour and design.

Our lovely hybrid lavender is the perfect plant for a hot spot, a very drought tolerant plant that is also deer resistant and of course produces a beautiful and fragrant flower 🪻.
