Over the last two months, I have been working on replacing windows for a 1000-unit, 40-unit townhouse complex in Vancouver and expect the project to conclude within the next two months; the homeowners are pleased with the enhanced warmth in each unit. Installed a door side light today, with complications arising after door removal. The original construction sequence had the door hung before the concrete floor was laid, resulting in a lack of concrete support under the door frame. A easy solution was implemented by framing the opening and applying quickset concrete creating a firm base for the door and ensuring proper flashing. The door was installed successfully, meeting the customer's expectations. Moving on to another door installation project.
