Tight Fit!

When we are quoting jobs, one of the things we need to consider is access. Will we be able to get into the space easily? What equipment is needed? If the area is hard to access, what alternate equipment could we use; crane, Merlo, bucket, scissor lifts, climbers?

All those decisions ultimately impact the time and cost of a job. Something we need to consider and which is reflected in pricing.

When storm calls come in, everything else gets reprioritized, especially when they are of the magnitude of the damages that occurred after the storm that hit London last week. Regularly scheduled jobs get postponed and we come together as a team to create a plan of attack on how we can best tackle all of the pressing work on deck.

This was our team working on triaging how best to fan out and prioritize based on need. Uprooted trees on houses and vehicles are high on the list (trees and branches down on roadways are handled by the City). Leaning trees and those in danger of falling also get priority. Insurance claims are often involved, and that needs to be taken into consideration as well.

It is all-hands on deck and an extraordinary effort in teamwork. We are proud of our crew and what they can handle during high-pressure events. Excellent job!

Props to our busting it on storm calls. We couldn't do it without the coordination of everyone working hard together to safely clean up damaged trees in the Forest City.

As expected, CLC Tree Services Ltd has been extremely busy fielding storm calls from the intense storm that struck London on Tuesday. As noted earlier, storm calls take precedence over other previously scheduled items. That means that the training scheduled for our crews today will move to a future date. And any tree work we had on our boards will, in most cases, get rescheduled too.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but emergency storm response is top priority. Once the worst of the tree damage is addressed, regular work will continue.

That was an intense storm that ripped through London yesterday. They have yet to determine whether it was in fact a tornado or not, but regardless of the classification plenty of trees were damaged .

To that end, when we get calls for those calls always take priority, so some of our regular work has to get rescheduled. Our apologies for anyone affected.
