This is the big one, the last hurrah before back-to-school season kicks in. Squeeze in that final project, one more weekend at the cottage, or just a couple of slow mornings before the routine starts back up. Our offices close Friday at 5pm and we'll reopen Tuesday at 7am, right as the buses start rolling again. However you spend it, make it count, Norfolk County. Happy Labour Day.

One last big summer hurrah before fall rolls in. Free food, live music, a car show, arts and crafts, Tom Bishop's Wild West Show and of course the bouncy castle situation that little ones lose their minds over. A great day for the whole family and it doesn't cost you a thing to get in.

Looking back on a summer well spent. This little one found the best seat in the house at Touch a Truck in Waterford, and the smiles all day made it one to remember. Getting out into the community and watching kids climb up for a closer look is exactly why we love these events. Thanks to everyone who stopped by to say hi. A great day, start to finish.

As summer winds down, your lawn's been through a lot, heat, foot traffic, backyard hangouts, and all of it takes a toll. Late summer into early fall is actually the best window to fix it.
Aerate to open up the soil, overseed to fill in the thin spots, then roll it smooth so everything settles in before the cool weather.

Ax throwing, trivia, a big lunch, and a happy 50th to Jason. Our Staff Day was equal parts fun and connection. We thanked our summer students for a fantastic season and spent the afternoon on teambuilding, blindfolds included, working on trust and communication. The takeaway was a good one: every person on this team brings something that matters.

Grateful for this crew.

Heads up, both our locations will be closing at 10am tomorrow, Thursday August 20th, for a Staff Day.

More than 50 years in, our team is still the heart of what we do here. Tomorrow we're stepping away from the counter to spend time together, get in some training, and celebrate the people who keep our fleet running and our customers looked after. It's a chance to sharpen a few skills, swap what we've learned, and say thank you to the crew who show up for this community every single day.

We'll be back to regular hours on Friday. If you need equipment before the weekend, give us a call and we'll get you sorted before we close.
