How did this Walnut Grove driveway hold up two years after being lifted and levelled?

The driveway had settled unevenly, creating noticeable drops between slabs and leaving cracks and joints that needed repair. Instead of removing and replacing the concrete, our crew restored the existing driveway.

The process included:

• Assessing the settlement and identifying the slabs that could be lifted
• Drilling small injection ports in the concrete
• Injecting PolyLevel® beneath the slabs to fill voids and carefully raise them
• Levelling the transitions between each section
• Sealing the cracks, joints and injection points for a clean finish

The best part? We returned **two years later** to see how it was holding up—and the driveway remains level, stable and looking great.

This is why we like showing more than the immediate “after.” Long-term performance is what really matters.

Some concrete repairs are straightforward. Others require **experience, patience, and a careful hand.**

Ethan was Crew Lead on this extensive project in South Surrey, where our team tackled significant concrete settlement with a combination of **concrete lifting, stabilization, and crack repair**.

Each section has to be carefully evaluated and lifted in a controlled sequence, while monitoring how surrounding slabs respond and making adjustments along the way.

It takes expertise—and sometimes a lot of patience—to get the kind of results we’re after.

It's hard to believe this is the same walkway. 🤯

When homeowners see concrete that's settled, cracked, and uneven, they often assume replacement is the only option.
