Sometimes we do pavers too! 👊

A little change of pace from fences and decks. Getting the base levelled and compacted, ready for a new backyard patio.

The work underneath matters just as much as the finished surface.

Your deck might be trying to tell you something. 👀

Rot like this isn’t just cosmetic. Once moisture gets into the structure, deterioration can spread quickly and compromise the strength and safety of the deck.

Some signs it might be time for a replacement:

🪵 Visible rot or deteriorating wood
🔨 Soft, spongy or unstable boards
🔩 Loose fasteners or wobbly railings
💧 Water pooling or poor drainage
⚠️ Sagging, movement or structural concerns
📅 An older deck that’s requiring constant repairs

Sometimes a repair makes sense. Other times, continuing to patch an aging deck just means spending more money on something that ultimately needs to be replaced.

If you’re unsure what condition your deck is in, we can take a look and help you figure out the best way forward.

Almost wrapped up on this one in Langford.

12mm frameless glass railing from Westcana Railing out of Vancouver paired with TimberTech Legacy composite decking in Whitewash Cedar with Espresso picture framing throughout.

Clean sightlines, low maintenance, and a seriously high-end finish.

A lot of detail work went into this build to keep everything flowing properly around the glass, borders, and transitions. Really happy with how this one is coming together.

Frameless glass completely changes the feel of a space once it goes in. The deck suddenly feels bigger, cleaner, and the view becomes the focal point instead of the railing.

More photos and final walkthrough coming soon once we wrap everything up.

Tight lines, clean transitions, and a view that speaks for itself.
This one came together with a full composite surface, contrasting picture frame, and custom angle work to tie everything in clean. Frameless glass keeps it wide open, aluminum railing adds the structure, and the privacy wall finishes it off where it matters.
Details are everything on a build like this — clean mitres, consistent spacing, and no shortcuts.
Built to look good from every angle and hold up long term.
If you’re planning a deck this year, now’s the time to get it dialed in.

Most guys would’ve built a deck here and called it a day.
We cut the entire yard out, poured a slab and added a lap pool (under the tarp).
Everything had to be planned around that — structure, layout, access, drainage, all of it was planned around that pool.

Next, the hot tub and railing, then the sauna. Almost there.

Always exciting when you spot your work in the wild.
Long run of frameless glass on a slope. No room for error — if it’s off, you see it instantly. This one came out clean.
