A quick fix with items I had scattered around my studio.
A creative guest room where suitcases become temporary boxes to hide away clutter, some of my artwork a little, simple fabrics, warm light and bit of green adds to a space full of surprises: what was a mess in storage suddenly forms an identity. Every object found a function, and together they create a one-of-a-kind setup for anyone visiting my world – a world of creativity that turns the ordinary into exciting environments and welcomes curiosity.

I call that momentum.

My philosophy of interior architecture and Gestaltung is not about planning the perfect decoration for a client. Instead, I focus on space planning with simple, thoughtful spaces that allow the owner to complete their home over time – with their own belongings, travel souvenirs, and collections of old and new items, piece by piece. A home that is finished on handover day often leaves no room for change. Despite its first glance of beauty, to me that feels no different than a coffin to be buried in.

Of course, there are many ways to look at architecture and design. For me, this works best.

Meanwhile in Shanghai:
On the narrow eastern garden strip, we need a path from the villa’s main entrance down one floor level to connect with the southern main garden.
I envision a mix of platforms and stairs—some narrow, some wide—winding down like water finding its way. But because I work mainly with rectangular forms, it will become an abstract brook.

I call this Momentum.

Of course, countless other solutions exist, following different principles. I simply want to be consistent in my style and shape the garden as an extension of the interior geometry.
