It's been so cold outside we can't work on the sauna. So I'm working on the plans for the annex! Using my visualization software to get ideas together. We have also been figuring out the permit process.

Getting closer! It's been too cold outside to work. But we got some work done and the outlet installed. Hopefully we'll be up and running soon!

🎄 Vores første jul i Danmark 🇩🇰
Our home was full—11 of us celebrating Christmas and New Year’s under one roof. So much food, laughter, candles, and coziness… it was everything we hoped for and more.
Now the house is quiet again, and we’re shifting gears: planning the annex renovation, diving into Danish building rules—and waiting for our Christmas gift to each other… a sauna kit!

And local honey just a short walk from the house! It's also an open air museum with a number of building from the 1700's. Danish roadside stand, or hønsestig, is a small, often self-service stall offering seasonal produce like berries, honey, eggs, and flowers, relying on a strong community "honor system" where customers take goods and leave payment in a cash box or mobile pay. These charming stands are a reflection of Danish trust and simplicity, providing a moment of local life rooted in community.

Found the most amazing pick your own flower field just a few kilometers from the house! And it was 40 DKK for all these flowers! (That's about $6!!!)
