A slightly different job for W.R Locksmiths today, with a callout to Aboyne in Aberdeenshire to open a safe that the owner could no longer access.

Safes aren’t something I work on every day, so it was great to take on a more unusual job and put the locksmith skills to the test. After carefully working through the issue, I was able to get the safe open successfully. 🔑

🔐 Another couple of padlock puzzles solved! 🔐

Out in Alford, Aberdeenshire recently for a job involving not one… but TWO padlocks that had decided they weren’t letting anyone in! 😅

Luckily, they met their match with W.R Locksmiths! 🛠️ After a bit of careful picking, both padlocks were opened without causing unnecessary damage. 🔓🔓

Been to a job today in Stonehaven, where the Tennant was having issues locking their door from the outside. Lock had a completely worn curtain which was causing the issue but it looks as if someone has tried to cut through the bolt at some point which the Tennant had no idea about.

New BS Lock fitted so the door now locks and stays secure the way it should.

Interesting job this week, got called to open up a locked shipping cabin which hadn’t been opened for years. Lock was completely rusted but still managed to get it picked open and replaced with zero damage and another happy customer. Customer lost their keys this week, W.R Locksmiths managed to gain entry after a couple of taps and get the customer back into their home.
