This project on Malone Road was never just about fitting a new kitchen.

Working alongside the developer, the focus was on creating a family home that worked as one complete space bringing together the kitchen, dining and living areas while making the most of the garden and natural light.

The result is a home that's bright, practical and designed around everyday life.

This project has recently been completed and the transformation speaks for itself.

What was once a separate kitchen and dining room is now one open, light-filled space designed around how the family lives every day.

The lighting completely changes the feel of the room, especially in the evening.

The combination of sage green and warm woodland tones remains as popular as ever, but as the showroom evolves it's time for this display to make way for what's next.

The beauty of it is that it doesn't have to stay exactly as you see it. We can still add to it, adjust the layout and explore different worktop options, including quartz if preferred.

One of the biggest misconceptions we come across is that people think they need a bigger kitchen.

We've seen very large kitchens that don't work particularly well and smaller kitchens that work brilliantly.

The difference is usually in the planning, not the size.

One of the most common requests we hear is: "I want as much storage as possible."

Storage matters, but filling every wall with cabinetry can often make a kitchen feel smaller and more enclosed. Good design is about balance.

Sometimes a little less storage, combined with the right features and materials, creates a space that feels far better to live in.
