We’ve Seen Some Bad Gates… But This One! 😳
We’ve been called in this week to replace a gate that simply wasn’t up to the job. The garden had recently been landscaped by another company, including the construction and installation of a new gate — unfortunately, it turned out to have a whole host of problems.
We’ve come across some bad gates in our time. Sometimes people have a go at making one themselves, only to realise that making a good, sturdy, properly functioning gate isn’t quite as easy as it looks!
But to think this one had been constructed by a professional landscaping company was, quite frankly, horrifying. 😳
There isn’t enough space to list all the issues with it, but as they say, a picture paints a thousand words…
And just to clarify — it’s not the camera angle! 😂 That board really does taper at the front. What you see in the photo is exactly how it was constructed!
Thankfully, the old gate is now a thing of the past, and we’ve constructed and fitted a lovely new gate — properly made, sturdy and built to last.
If you’re looking for a gate that’s built properly from the start, give us a shout. 👍
