Can AI make garden design more accessible?

At RHS Chelsea 2026, award-winning landscape designer Matt Keightley debuted three full-scale gardens created using Spacelift, the AI-assisted design platform he co-founded. One of them - a woodland-themed wellbeing space - features Millboard Board & Batten+ cladding in Burnt Cedar as part of its material palette.

We were pleased to have our product chosen for the space. But beyond our own involvement, the wider story felt worth exploring: what does AI-assisted design actually mean for homeowners, for professionals, and for the industry?

Our view is a balanced one. Tools like Spacelift may genuinely open up design quality that was previously out of reach for many homeowners. That doesn't diminish the value of professional design — it may simply mean more people arriving at that conversation better informed.

The best stands at Chelsea are built on collaboration 🌿

We're proud to be a product partner on The Hive - the British Association of Landscape Industries' exhibit at RHS Chelsea Flower Show 2026, designed by Matt Evans of The Garden Room - Living and Landscape Studio and built by Frosts Landscape Construction Limited.

Matt chose Millboard's Shadow Line+ cladding in Ashwood, a new colour for 2026, for its pale, freshly sawn character and its ability to complement the naturalistic planting and warm material palette throughout the stand without competing for attention. A discerning choice, and one that feels entirely at home on the world's greatest stage for garden design.

We sat down with Matt, alongside Rosie Sayer and Amy Cobbett from BALI, to hear the thinking behind the stand.

One of the highlights of Chelsea week is the people behind the stands.

We sat down with Rod and Debs Winrow, founders of Garden House Design, to hear the story behind their 2026 stand; a design inspired by 30 years of travel, a love of outdoor living in every corner of the world, and a genuine belief that your garden should feel just as inviting in October as it does in July.

Now in our third consecutive year as product partner, it's a collaboration that feels as natural as ever. Garden House Design have once again been awarded an RHS Chelsea 5-Star Stand Award, a well-deserved recognition of everything Rod, Debs and their team have created this week.

Chelsea opens its gates today 🌸

RHS - Royal Horticultural Society Chelsea Flower Show 2026 is officially open, sold out for the first time since before the pandemic, and we are proud to be part of it.

We feature across multiple locations at the show this week, including our third consecutive year with Garden House Design on Main Avenue.
