When materials work together, everything else falls into place.

This garden pairs the warmth of our Limed Oak decking and cladding with Sinai Pearl setts, glass balustrading and artificial lawn, each material chosen to complement the last rather than compete for attention.

82m² of Limed Oak Enhanced Grain decking runs straight into 18m² of matching cladding, giving a seamless finish from floor to wall.

Tucked among rock and natural springs, Marianna Popejoy's garden centres on a curved deck and boardwalk leading through to a hot tub, sauna and outdoor shower.

As a biophilic designer, Marianna wanted the space to draw people outdoors, but the damp ground ruled out real timber as a practical choice. Her solution was Enhanced Grain decking in Ashwood, moulded from real oak, with a Plas-Pro subframe flexible enough to hold the curve she wanted from the very first sketch.

We loved being part of this project with Marianna, from planning to finished forest spa garden. Her whole approach - drawing people outdoors to reconnect with nature - is what Live. Life. Outside. means to us 🌿

Summer, done right.

Designed by TAW Garden Landscapes Ltd, this bespoke garden kitchen and bar pairs a cast and polished concrete work surface with Millboard Golden Oak cladding, under a powder-coated aluminium pergola with a louvred roof. Smoke and steam escape easily, while the chef stays sheltered from the sun.

Integrated storage keeps BBQ utensils and coals out of sight, and the bar area keeps everyone in the conversation rather than cooking alone in the corner.

Golden Oak brings warmth to the whole space, without the upkeep timber cladding would demand.

From worn and tired, to a space the whole family wants to be in.

Slip resistance matters in wet areas. We test the slip resistance of our composite deck boards using a standardised pendulum test. A PTV (Pendulum Test Value) above 36 is deemed as 'low slip potential' by the HSE.

Millboard’s Enhanced Grain Decking exceeds this, earning a score of 49-60 in dry conditions and 36-42 when wet. Millboard decking’s slip resistance significantly outperforms timber and generic composite decking brands, even in the wet.

That's the difference the right decking makes. Not just how a space looks, but how it feels to move through.
