Let me re-introduce ourselves!

We are Louise & Emma , old enough to be working in this industry over 45 years between us! That makes us feel so old, but also very experienced!
Emma loves green and I love blue
Emma is indecisive and I’m too decisive
Emma is very organised and I am not
Emma panics and I am chilled
Emma is extremely fussy and I am less so
Emma loves fabrics and I love plans
Emma studied in Edinburgh and I studied in Glasgow
Emma knows the names of every shade of fabric in our plains books, I know the dimensions of an object without measuring it,
We are the perfect ying and yang , we know our own strengths & weaknesses so work well together to achieve the best outcome for our clients.
We are months ahead on our projects so if you’re looking a pre Christmas completion it’s time to get in touch!!

Some pics of our KLD, this really is the heart of our home, we love how it transitions from a functional space during the day to a cozy atmospheric lounge in the evening, we have filled the space with sentimental pieces so every corner tells a story that is personal to us. Still need to add some voiles and style the shelves but for now we love it.

Don neglect the back door entrance, especially if it’s your main entrance. The back hall and back loo were always basic with no budget assigned to them, thankfully this had changed as we now appreciate this is likely to be the most used toilet in the house and the entrance that is used most. It needs to be functional but also welcoming. I love how this recently completed project has consistency from the bootroom back hall , back wc and laundry room, showing the space can be functional and pretty!

Another room transformed just in time for Christmas. We injected new life into this beautiful space by reupholstering the furniture, new blinds and adding lots of layers of subtle textures and patterns in the cushions. The stunning William yeoward lamps added height , the rug will arrive in January to complete this tranquil space.

Weve had an amazing few days at .show , thank you to everyone who came to speak to me, previous clients, friends, fellow designers, reps, neighbours, current clients and potential future clients. Iv enjoyed all the chats and apologies if i didn’t get to speak to you. Mr Fox really caught everyone’s eye ! I had the best laughs with my fellow designers , it’s great when local designers can work alongside each other. Hope everyone who came enjoyed the designer showcase!

This sun room is both practical and beautiful , the leather makes it suitable for family life, the voiles diffuses the light and protects the furniture yet it is warm, cosy and inviting and the colour scheme is linked to the lounge as they are connected through a glazed door. We were involved early in this project to advise on radiators, flooring , electrical positions etc… The earlier you can involve a designer the greater the impact will be.
