PLANNING APPEAL WON! | CLASS Q BARN CONVERSION 🏡
After more than two years, two refused planning applications and a successful planning appeal, we're delighted to have secured Class Q permitted development approval for the conversion of a traditional agricultural barn into a beautiful countryside home in Devon!
We demonstrated that the existing structure was fundamentally sound and suitable for a residential barn conversion under Class Q permitted development rights.
Following two refusals, we prepared and submitted a detailed planning appeal, challenging the local planning authority's interpretation of the regulations.
The Planning Inspector agreed with our case and allowed the appeal!
This is a particularly rewarding result for our client and demonstrates the importance of architectural expertise, understanding planning policy and having the determination to see a challenging project through.
